Inside and outside of my creative life, I always find those valuable moments of time to draw and sketch the some of events, spaces and environments on my journeys... Sometimes I think about Robert Byron touring through regions of the Middle East in search of unique towers and monuments, and wonder about Bruce Chatwin venturing through the southern tip of South America and falling in love with Patagonia...Douglas Wittnebel...

Bodega Bay, early morning fog
Early in the morning over the weekend, heavy wet fog blanket over the Bay of Bodega, a painted version of the pale light and effects of the view looking north from the Tides restaurant...a nice spot for breakfast...and a wonderful way to view the changing light effects and the early morning fishin and clam digging men and women in the mud flats...sketchbook pro version...

Modesto Gate
Built in 1912, the entrance gate to the city of Modesto spans the street at 9th and I, a reddish color paint on a steel truss, displaying the key phrase words of Water,Wealth, Contentment, Health
Key Words that are on the top of the lists of many discussions and arguments in the news today. and more to come in the future...I painted this view using adobe ideas app for the top layers, and a brushes app for the undertone sky of blue and orange...
