Pier painting, Bodega Bay, California, early morning

Early morning views of Bodega Bay, heavy fog layers blending the water and sky into layers of blue grey, heavy timber logs gathered and strapped with metal into pier formations with an atmosphere of weathered nautical sculptures...drawn/painted with adobe ideas on ipad...

Church of St. Theresa, Bodega, California

Hitchcock used the church as a prime setting for a movie, Ansel Adams viewed and framed it in some photos, and I painted and drew it on the weekend.  The schoolhouse is up beyond to the right on the hilltop. this was a rougher sketch approach to capturing the feelings of today and yesterday...

Bodega Bay, early morning fog

Early in the morning over the weekend, heavy wet fog blanket over the Bay of Bodega, a painted version of the pale light and effects of the view looking north from the Tides restaurant...a nice spot for breakfast...and a wonderful way to view the changing light effects and the early morning fishin and clam digging men and women in the mud flats...sketchbook pro version...
