Now it is the beginning of May, and it is clear that we are all in this together and we have learned so much about ourselves, our families, our workplaces, our habits and our uncertainties.

When I think about our intensely personal and our newly developed public journeys, I see a different sense of creative energy flowing in many new ways.

We really don’t know what is ahead on these trips we will be taking, but I know that the last ten weeks or so have taught me a lot about what it means to be alive and what it means to be truly challenged by the world we live within.

So here is a short film with some illustrations and thoughts about what has happened in the last ten weeks ... family times, WFH, SIP, diagrams, sharing, reading, painting, cooking, feelings, hiking, mask-making, exploring new virtual worlds and seeing the real neighborhoods …

Holiday Family Library Project finale!

Holiday Family Project: to create these two “little libraries” which will be stocked with high quality books for children and youth. Children can borrow books, and those who have books can exchange theirs for new ones; the idea of “take a book, leave a book” 

Target Clientele: Children and youth living in trailer parks in the North Houston / Tomball area. Ages of intended customers are 3 – 15 yrs. Many, but not all, are of Hispanic origin, from a variety of cultural backgrounds.  There was a fun competition between two teams and everyone was a winner!
