... have not been traveling to other areas or cities lately, but have been visioning and dreaming about scenarios of what could be or what has been and what may be elsewhere...this scene was created on the ipad with the use of a brushes app and artstudio app, and chromatically narrowed to a cool grey blue scenario...
Inside and outside of my creative life, I always find those valuable moments of time to draw and sketch the some of events, spaces and environments on my journeys... Sometimes I think about Robert Byron touring through regions of the Middle East in search of unique towers and monuments, and wonder about Bruce Chatwin venturing through the southern tip of South America and falling in love with Patagonia...Douglas Wittnebel...

I am keeping a close eye and ear to the events unraveling in Japan, and praying that good news will eventually come out of the country. The people of Japan are strong and resilient and are being tested to their limits and my thoughts and prayers are with everyone of them. I completed this sketch before the earthquake occurred but could not post it until today.
