"Landscape Lyrics" Gouache painting from IIDA event

IIDA East Bay Design in Motion event

Thanks for the invite to the committee for the East Bay chapter of IIDA Northern California, I had the pleasure to do a live painting on site, show some of my recent gouache painting work, and finally see some faces that I have not seen in more than a year or so, such a terrific and truly fun event!  Here is a photo of myself with my good friend, Brandon Maddox...

Looking back one year ago to the wonderful trees, and expressing my concern about the terrible forest fires up in the Sierras.

Oh the trees, the magnificent long living trees holding their own and linked together by rooted networks deep under the soil, sharing worries and  thoughts and many concerns, oh the trees are holding on.

Promotion for IIDA event with an appearance of yours truly…..
