Wailoa Mission House painting

Had no idea at the time of my visit in Hanalei, but have later learned that this large roofed house was the 1837 home of the early Christian missionaries, Abner and Lucy Wilcox. Now a landmark, and restored in 1921 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, reflects the southern roots of its architect, the Reverend William Alexander of Kentucky.  Imagine that, southern roots of architecture design on the island of Kauai...

Painting done with sketchbook pro on the iPad tablet with stylus...

  1. Wonderful blog! Do you have any suggestions for aspiring writers?
I'm hoping to start my own site soon but I'm a little lost on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm completely overwhelmed .. Any tips? Thanks a lot!
