The All Terrain Armored Transport, or AT-AT walker, is a four-legged transport and combat vehicle used by the Imperial ground terrain forces. Height of over 20 meters tall with super blast-impervious armor plating, these massive moving constructs are used as much for intense psychological effect as they are for battlefield tactical advantage. This piece was created using the iPad and stylus and the Concepts app.

DREAM PALMS

Here you can see the painting of four unique palm trees with details of the leaves, the painting was created on the iPad on site in the city of Angels. This piece is part of a series of finely detailed digital paintings depicting the palm tree as integral to the unique California landscape.

I have always loved painting palm trees and trying to capture the feeling of the slender trunks and spindly fronds.

The palm tree has the scientific term of Arecaceae and is part of family of perennial flowering plants in the monocot order Arecales.

Palms are among the best known and most extensively cultivated plant families. In many historical cultures, palms were symbols or icons for such ideas as victory, peace and fertility.

Chapter 9 in the WFH series

It is the end of March, and Spring is in the air, and we can sense some lights at the end of the tunnel.  Our children are going back to school, the vaccine programs are rolling out very well, but many are wondering what will happen to the office and workplace, what are the factors for a successful RTO?  Biophilia and health/safety are growing stronger every day.  And there are some very dark skies holding COVID Variants, so masking up is paramount, and of course there are a host of ideas and issues going through my mind as we all continue to experience and maintain the evolving work / home spaces and settings.
